Budget travel: how to have excellent vacation adventures on a legitimately average income

Have you ever looked at those travel blogs advertising “budget travel” and thought “Holy –! If that’s what budget looks like, what does “luxury” look like to these people!?” Or maybe you click and start to read, sigh, and just close the page altogether… feeling the weight of a dream idea that’s so attainable, it’s best not to even look? Well chins up, women! You can, and should, go – see – do whatever the — you want! And I can prove it! J I’ll share some of the best tricks I’ve learned to all kinds of fun adventures, from lesser known camping options to 2-week international explorations, and all without breaking the bank. Your biggest cost will be planning time and choosing where to go.

This is perfect for active FEARLESS wanderers who are interested in truly experiencing the local culture of wherever they are visiting. Also great for retirees, solo travelers or single parents/families with limited income who want to provide memorable family fun for their kids. (Nor really for those who are looking for resort deals, tour packages, all-inclusives, or other such) I’ll cover choosing a destination, planning/researching, budgeting/saving, and even offer some packing advice.

Presenter name Sharon Nelson: a real-life single mom with a real-life budget, who has managed to make an exceptional life happen for she and her daughter – all without going into debt.
