Do you often feel stressed due to school, family, or relationships? Do you have difficulty concentrating or balancing your busy schedule? Join us as we explore yoga, journaling, and creative movement as tools to manage stress in this 8 week series for teens. You will be able to connect with other teens in a fun, supportive environment while gaining relaxation tools that can help in many areas of life. Together we will explore breathing techniques and yoga poses specific to reducing anxiety, increasing coping skills, and managing emotions, as well as how to use journaling and expressive arts to integrate awareness and support mental well-being.
Plan to wear something comfortable you can move in and bring your own yoga mat. Journals will be provided.
Facilitated by Larisa Hobbs, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA)
