First, a big thank you!
I am so excited to share this topic with you!
A little about me and why I’m talking about CBD:
I have been a registered nurse since 1999 and have been certified in the specialty of Oncology since 2004. I love people, specifically, I love helping people. I have worked in the hospital setting as well as a cancer clinic and have learned so much about life through my patients. The past 10 years or so, I have primarily stayed home with our children and recently started to shift my focus from “fixing” problems to working to prevent them in the first place.
I started studying CBD after several people had suggested I try it for each of my children (for completely different reasons). As a nurse, I wanted data. I didn’t want to put something unfamiliar to me into my children’s bodies without fully understanding it. The more I asked around and read about it, the more confused I got. Through my searching, I found a Core Curriculum for Cannabis Nursing and dove in. It brought so much clarity about this multi-functional plant and helped me sort through the hype as well as the confusion.
This class will be helpful for anyone who is new or experienced with CBD, wants scientific information about how it works, how it may or may not be helpful, how to shop wisely, and more!
