Event Details

Feminism. The word itself holds so much meaning. And such different meanings depending on who you ask. It’s an important and popular topic in our society today and one that deserves discussion so that we can best understand our stance and the stance of others. Which is exactly why we are excited to start hosting monthly discussions.

Here’s what we are going to do: We meet once a month for a few hours to discuss the topic of the month (this month is on what feminism means and looks like to different people). We will have wine, we will wear comfy clothes and we will dive into our thoughts on the subject. These conversations will be had with the understanding and agreement that we are creating a SAFE SPACE for individuals to learn more about one another and their points of view while respecting them for it- even if we don’t agree with it. All this will be facilitated by Johnna, a local coach and objective peacekeeper.

Here’s how it will not go: We are not going to have a debate. We are not trying to persuade anyone to say/do/think/believe a certain way. We are not going to argue. A difference of opinion are fine- yelling at one another is not.

RSVP and let us know you’re coming! We are looking forward to talking with you and delving into the many facets of feminism!

Facilitated by Johnna
