Event Details

Eating locally-grown food isn’t as hard as you might think, especially in a beautiful place like Winston-Salem, where local farmers abound and the climate is so well-suited to growing your own food at home. If you want to make a healthy change in 2019 that will feel more like fun than a chore, join us for this donation-based workshop at Fearless.

I’ll walk you through some of the key things I’ve learned so far about garden planning, provide tips & tricks for creating an oasis you’ll love, and sprinkle in some tips of my family’s favorite places at eat & shop local in Winston! I’ll have samples, snacks, and recipe recommendations for all attendees to takeaway. Plus, there will be free seed catalogs & seed saving packets + a 10% off discount on seed purchases (all from my favorite seed place: Sow True Seed) for group attendees.

All gardeners, regardless of whether you’ve never gardened before or have been gardening for years, are welcome! We’ll learn from each other and have a great discussion!
