Event Details

Learn how to make sauerkraut, while also learning the processes that power fermentation. While this is an introductory class, participants will walk away with a good foundation in the science and process of fermentation, which will empower students to ferment anything!

Organic cabbage, salt, and some spices provided.

Optional things participants may bring (but not required):
Large kitchen Knife
Cutting board
Fermentation vessel (or a quart mason jar)
Large mixing bowl

Fermentation vessels with airlocks will be available for purchase ($5)
