Let’s talk basics so we can all be on the same page. Without a solid foundation, we can’t expect to go far.
What does Google look for and how are we satisfying that need so we can improve our ranking? What tools are needed to help develop effective SEO for your business website? This class is assuming you already have a website and are looking to generate more traffic, more sales, or both to your business. Not just what tools can you use but what ones are free and how to use them to your advantage.
What is the point of SEO and Adwords? We will also cover keyword research, where and how to do that. What are keywords or phrases and where do I plug them into my website for success? Lastly, you will leave with some starter how to’s to get the SEO and Adwords programs rolling for your business.
Part 1 class will cover: What does Google look for? How are we satisfying that need to rank? On-site verse off-site SEO – What is the difference? Keyword tools, search console and how to set it up. Metadata and how it is used On site to improve SEO. Off-site SEO conversation on Directories and google maps and Adwords how do they help you rank?
Part 2 class will cover: On-site SEO Content strategy for onsite efforts including volume, titles, and page material. Off-site SEO – other sites sharing and linking to you – how do you do this? Adwords – how do we make an ad? Where should the ad link for effectiveness?
Part 3 class will cover: Focus off-site SEO with Measurement tools to use to track the effectiveness of a campaign. Social media and how it helps SEO efforts – why do we need to be there? AB split testing for Adwords campaigns and how that helps? Targeting how-tos with Adwords for greater ROI.
