This is an exciting and pivotal time in our country’s history. There is a shift occurring, where HATE, DISRESPECT, VIOLENCE, and TRAUMA will no longer be tolerated. Marginalized groups are speaking up and taking action. Women of Color (WOC) is one of those groups that is speaking up.
All of the emotion tied to an action can quickly leave us feeling exhausted. We have all heard the adage “You can’t pour from an empty cup”, but as women, we continue to try.
Fearless Winston-Salem is providing Women of Color a safe space to come together for sharing and expressing what it’s like to navigate through this world daily. After circle sharing time, you will receive suggestions on ways to fill your cup (self-care tips) so that you are better prepared for navigating the world we live in.
Free, donations to making Fearless possible are always welcome – please RSVP to email@example.com
Facilitated by Ouida Patten. Ouida is a Woman, Daughter, Mother, Friend, Intuitive, Student of Life, Reiki Practitioner and so much more (As women, we are so many things, to so many people &-we wear many hats daily). She’s a Salem College graduate with a B.A. in Criminal Studies and has been employed with local city government for 19 years. Anxiety and a medical diagnosis led her to a path of healing, and it completely changed her life. Studying Healing Touch and Reiki has been transformative for her and she is constantly researching and seeking more knowledge on how to be the best version of herself.
