Food is something we can all relate to, be excited about, and can’t stay without it.

Please join for a fun and delicious Indian Cooking special: Spice Chat.

We’ll explore the importance of Indian spices and how to use them in your regular cooking for a healthier you! You can pass this on to your future generations too. Remember, the addition of spices doesn’t necessarily have to make the food spicy. You can add to your baby food too and wouldn’t cause any side effects unlike so many drugs and also helps for better digestion and overall well being.

Sudha Moparthy, owner of Om Indian Groceries has a great passion for food. She strongly believes that food has a lot of healing powers and when cooked with the spices, food can help fight the diseases and can get relief from every day cold & cough, pains as well as chronic health conditions. We hear a lot of cancer cases every day and by making food adjustments to our crazy & busy lifestyle, hopefully, one day we can be “cancer-free”.

As a cancer research scientist for more than 16 years, Sudha studies the latest medical advances in Cancer Biology and she has several articles published in various scientific journals; but she also believes that holistic approaches to health that date back thousands of years like Ayurveda are also important to a person’s well being.  She also has a strong background in Nutrition and is always interested in saving the environment.

Let’s embark on this journey and hope to meet all of you!
