Students who know their strengths have confidence, are self-aware and have higher self-esteem. Students who know their strengths are better able to navigate their classes and teachers/professors by using their strengths to develop strategies to be successful in the classroom. Students who know their strengths are more successful in school and colleges; are better prepared for internships and program, scholarship, and job interviews; and have a higher graduation rate.
By knowing their strengths, students are able to clearly answer such questions as:
Tell me about yourself.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
What value do you bring?
Why should we choose you?
If you are a student or know a student who wants to increase their success inside and outside the classroom, then join us for a workshop to:
Learn what your natural talents and strengths are
See ways in which your natural talents and strengths show up every day
Strategies to study and complete assignments using your strengths
Strategies to relate to teachers/professors and classmates
Strategies to engage in extracurricular activities, internships, jobs, and more.
This workshop is open to high school, college, and graduate students.
The fee for the workshop is $30, this includes an assessment code. Pre-registration is strongly suggested so that you have time to complete the Clifton Strengths Assessment, which takes 35-45 minutes to complete. While not required, having completed the assessment makes the workshop more meaningful.
This workshop is open ALL – women, men, and non-binary students!
