Event Details

With the month of October being Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Month, Fearless will be hosting a fundraising event for Family Services, which provides resources to victims and families of domestic violence, including safe shelter, legal connections, counseling, support groups, and much more. This event will be an evening of tasty food and positive discussion!

Em Jackson (they/them) will be facilitating the event. Em is a 25-year-old artist who works a few jobs in the downtown area. In their spare time, they work with a non-profit addiction and recovery group, put on local art shows, and stay busy working on commissions and playing with their new pup! Em grew up in a household afflicted by domestic violence, and since coming into adulthood, has been physically victimized in two separate relationships six years apart. For a long time, Em was boggled with the question of how to break the cycle and struggled on a journey to find self-worth.

Food will be provided by Delicious By Shereen. If you are interested in eating the full dinner, please pay and register – the $15 fee goes directly to the refugee women working with Shereen Abdelfattah. A collection will also take place for a local women’s shelter. Let’s Fearlessly support women in our community!

Women, non-binary and allies welcome.
