She grew up surrounded by influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to Liszt and it shows in her approach to music and her teaching style. She has taught group classes and individual lessons for kindergarten through college and takes an energetic approach to teaching, believing that people learn best when they’re having fun.

Kendra is passionate about making music accessible to everyone, and believes that truly special things happen when you play music with other people (scientists agree).

In addition to all things music, Kendra loves hiking with her husband and her dogs, reading, and playing video games.
